Delphi
Your journey begins 211 km north of Athens, in Galaxidi. This small town on the Gulf of Corinth combines peace and tranquility with a glorious maritime history. Take a leisurely stroll through this beautiful town and swim in the Gulf of Corinth.
The next day, visit the archaeological site of Delphi, just a 30-minute drive from Galixidi. Delphi, the sanctuary of Apollo, was home to ancient Greece’s most famous oracle, the Pythia, who was consulted by all the greatest figures of antiquity!
Don’t hesitate to take your children on some of the region’s beautiful hiking trails. And if you love stones and spirituality, the perfectly preserved thousand-year-old monastery of Osios Loukas is just a stone’s throw away!

Drive 210 km through the beautiful Peloponnese countryside and olive groves to reach Olympia, the cradle of Olympism!
Stop at Naupacte for an excellent meal in the Venetian harbor, overlooking the sea and offering a complete change of scenery.
Once you’ve reached the archaeological site of Olympia, put on your 3D glasses and take your family on an unforgettable adventure back to antiquity! Follow in the footsteps of the ancient athletes and explore the stadium and temples of Zeus and Hera!

Explore Mycenae, the legendary city built by the Cyclops
Epidaurus theatre
If you’re feeling adventurous, take a 155km detour to Mistra and Sparta to explore the remains of Leonidas’ ancient city.
Alternatively, you can drive directly to Nafplio (1 hour 45 minutes). Immediately be enchanted by the fabulous beauty of Greece’s ancient capital. Take the family up to the impressive Citadel of Palamedes: you’ll be rewarded with an exceptional view of the Saronic Gulf!
The next day, take advantage of the proximity of Epidaurus (a 30-minute drive through beautiful countryside) to discover its famous ancient theater and the sanctuary of Asclepius. Don’t hesitate to let your children try out the theater’s exceptional acoustics! Finally, let yourself be carried away to Mycenae, the legendary city of the Cyclops, Agamemnon and Orestes!

Discover or rediscover the myths of ancient Greece
Parthenon - Athens Acropolis
Arrive in Athens after a 2-hour drive. Drop off your luggage at the hotel and head out into the streets of the Greek capital, which is steeped in history and modernity. Stroll through the neighborhoods, browse the small boutiques and indulge in the culinary specialties offered by the bakeries, cafes and grocery stores.
The next day, take a short tour dedicated to the mythology of ancient Greece. From Zeus to Heracles, from the terrifying Moires to the splendor of Apollo, your children will learn all about Greek myths distilled in their natural environment: the historic center of Athens. Then visit the Acropolis Museum, one of the most beautiful museums in the world.

First swims in the Aegean
Paros
Plan an early departure from the mythical port of Athens, Piraeus, to reach Paros via a 4-hour ferry crossing. On arrival, a transfer will take you to your hotel. Discover the surrounding area at leisure and take your first dip in the sea. Lunch is provided in a typical taverna serving excellent local specialties.

Typical villages of Paros
Marpissa
Your rental car is delivered to your hotel at around 10am. You then set off to discover the picturesque villages of Paros, all dressed in white. Leukes is your first objective. With its charming alleyways, pine forest and white houses bordered by beautiful courtyards, Leukes is one of the most beautiful villages on the island.
Then stop off at the small fishing port of Naoussa for a tasty lunch. From here, head for another fishing village, Piso Livadi, where the beach offers the best of the Aegean Sea.
Finally, head to the wonderful village of Marpissa, stuck in the 16th century for your pleasure. Stroll along its cobbled streets, past traditional windmills and small Venetian churches. Take a selfie in front of the famous pink gate: the Cyclades with your family are magical!

Day 10
Hop on your bike
Kolymbithres beach
Your meeting point is Parikiá, a beautiful 13th-century town, at 10am. You’ll be welcomed by Flora and her husband, who will give you all the tips you need for a short electric bike ride. Take advantage of this bike ride to get off the beaten track! Take an effortless ride through a breathtaking landscape.
Take a swim break at the famous Kolymbithres beach and observe its mysterious natural statues! Stroll through the picturesque streets of Parikiá chora, with its Venetian and Byzantine monuments! And if you fancy a refreshing dip, the beach is just a stone’s throw away!

Day 11
Exploration of the famous cave and swimming
Antiparos caves
Today, the whole family dons their explorer costumes. From Pounta or Parikiá, you set off for Antiparos, Paros’ little sister off the coast. Allow around 30 minutes for the journey. On arrival at the port, a rental car is waiting for you.
Take the 411-step stone staircase to the entrance of the mysterious grotto of Antiparos and enter this marvellous site. Then take a boat trip to explore the deserted island of Despotiko. Go deep into its uninhabited forest in search of the remains of a lost civilization!
A typical meal awaits you in a small taverna in the port of Antiparos, before your return to Paros.

Day 12
Back to the capital
National Garden
Drop off your rental car at the hotel, then enjoy a transfer to the port. There, a ferry awaits to take you back to Piraeus. A final transfer takes you back to your hotel in Athens.
The afternoon is free. Take the opportunity to do some shopping in Pandrossou Street and watch the changing of the guard at Syndagma. The soldiers, dressed in traditional uniforms, perform this ritual with perfect coordination. Children love it!
If you wish, you can also visit the magnificent National Garden of Athens, the capital’s most beautiful park. Amid enchanting flora, birds, turtles and carp rub shoulders with ancient statues. A small zoo and a playground let the little ones let off some steam!
