Epidaurus A world-famous sanctuary, Epidaurus was dedicated to Asclepius, the god of medicine. Best known for its ancient theater, the best-preserved in the Greek world, don’t forget the temple and the museum where you can learn all about the site’s history.

Located in the heart of a small island off the coast of the famous island of Mykonos, this site was an important commercial and religious center in ancient Greece. Here you’ll find beautiful mosaics, numerous ancient temples, statues and ruined houses.
#8 Knossos Palace
Built over 3,000 years ago on the island of Crete, this palace is a major archaeological site of the Minoan civilization. As you walk around, you’ll see beautiful gardens, frescoes and numerous buildings.
#9 The Corinth Canal
Built in the 19th century, this artificial canal connects the Ionian Sea with the Aegean Sea. The passage of ships between the two cliffs of this canal is a sight not to be missed!
#10 National Archaeological Museum of Athens
Known as the largest archaeological museum in Athens, its impressive collection of ancient artifacts (around 20,000 pieces) dazzles visitors. Its collection includes the famous statue of Antinous and funerary masks from Mycenae.
